Looysen has built a career in truck fleet sales management. In 1992, he became a regional sales manager with GE Capital Fleet Services and sold truck management services to midsize and large truck fleets. In 1997, he accepted a position with Freightliner Corporation (a Division of Daimler Trucks North America - DTNA) and became a national vocational sales manager for the railroad market. In 2001, he was promoted to director of the business class and vocational sales group overseeing national sales of Freightliner trucks for medium duty and vocational markets. In 2008 he was relocated to South Carolina and soon took on the role as DTNA’s Western Star Trucks division as Vice President of Sales for the U.S. and Canada. He holds a B.S. in business and marketing from North Dakota State University.
